GAME FREAK, Inc. () is the Japanese video game developer behind the Pokémon series of RPGs, as well as several other games. It is a second-party developer for Nintendo.

The company was founded on April 26, 1989 by Satoshi Tajiri (), born August 28, 1965). In honor of the founder, the lead character in the Japanese version of the Pokémon TV series was named Satoshi (Ash in the English dub).

Their most popular RPG series, Pokémon, is published by Nintendo in Japan, North America and Europe. Pokémon is formally known as Pocket Monsters () in Japan, and the abbreviation is derived from the Japanese spelling.
