National Grandparents Day was established in the United States by President Jimmy Carter in 1978, and is observed on the first Sunday after Labor Day.
Schools and churches celebrate Grandparents Day at different times throughout the year and honor grandparents with a special program.

I had the most amazing day with my grandparents taking to the Doctors Office, Shopping for them, and making sure they ate etc... it was nice
